The Doggett Center Rises Again!

We are overjoyed to share that in February 2025, the NC State Catholic Campus Ministry purchased a beautiful 4,446 square foot historic home at 1410 Hillsborough Street as our new Doggett Center!

This beautiful, stately home was built in 1920 and is less than a mile from campus. Recent updates include freshly painted interior and exterior, new HVAC, updated landscaping, new steps, cabinets, countertops and appliances. There is ample parking with a 14-space private parking lot, plus plenty of street parking for students and families. It includes a versatile basement with a half-bath, as well.

We are absolutely thrilled to have a safe space where students will be able to shrug off the stress of classes and worries of outside life and breathe, rest, relax and recharge. It will be a haven where they can pray, chat, play, laugh and grow in faith and fellowship. 

We are actively working on renovations, furnishings and supplies and look forward to having it up-and-running as soon as possible. In the meantime, we are asking for your help in three ways:

  • Please consider making a one-time donation to our Building Fund to help us pay down the mortgage, renovate, purchase furnishings and supplies and create an endowment for ongoing expenses.

    • You can send a check made out to the Doggett Center to Dani Irving, Development Director, NC State Catholic Campus Ministry, P.O. Box 10302 Raleigh, NC 27605 or make a gift online.

    • We can also accept gifts of stock, gifts from foundations and donor-advised trusts. Contact Dani Irving for more information (919-609-2495).

  • We have created a Wish List called “Fill the CCM House with Love” and invite you to purchase an item (or two! or three!) off our registry to help us appoint our new ministry home.

  • With our beautiful new home, we need ongoing support. Please consider signing up to be a monthly donor to provide ongoing support for our new Doggett Center.
